4.1.1 We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information.
4.1.2 We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep any information contained therein confidential.
4.1.3 After a transaction has been concluded, your private information (credit cards, financials, etc.) will not be kept on file or stored on our database. The payment gateway gives this sensitive information directly to the payment processor.
4.1.4 On the payment providers’ dashboards, we can see the last 4 digits of your credit card number, the cardholder, issuing bank, and the country in which that bank operates, but NOT the expiration date, and CVC numbers. At no point do we have access to enough data to reproduce your credit card. We can only charge your card after you have given your express consent: the only change we can make to a payment is a reduction, by reversing an authorisation or refunding a payment. We cannot, under any circumstances, increase the amount that you have given authorisation for.
4.1.5 Data transmission over the internet can never be warranted to be entirely secure. Whilst we may take all reasonable steps and precautionary measures to safeguard your personal information, we may be unable to prevent unauthorised access to such information by third parties or inadvertent disclosure of such information during transit and we are not responsible for any actions taken by such third parties. You acknowledge and accept taking this risk when communicating with and transacting on our Website.
4.1.6 CAD4ALL is committed to protecting your Personal Information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure by using a combination of physical, administrative, and technical safeguards. Whilst CAD4ALL makes every effort to secure its Platforms, you should note that the internet is not completely secure; thus when you submit or post Personal Information online, you should be aware that CAD4ALL cannot guarantee the security of any personal information that you submit or post online.
4.1.7 The Protection of Personal Information Act (POPI) went into effect on July 1, 2021. The POPIA governs how we handle personal information about you that we collect and/or receive from you.

4.2.1 Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, distributed, provided to, or given to any other company or individual or any other outside party for any reason whatsoever, without your prior written consent, other than third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential, or for the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or service requested or if requested by a department having legal authority to which the Law requires such disclosure.

In the event we receive fraudulent transactions. These usually are noticeable and attract attention, so these credit card authorisations are not settled and the orders are not processed. We try to spot all of them, but sometimes one fails to get noticed. In that case, we are contacted by the card-issuing bank, and the payment is reversed and a SAPS personnel is dispatched to collect the goods paid with a stolen credit card.
